I'm about to drop a real kicker, and you might find it silly, but here it is- I confess that I can't swim. There, I said it. I can float around, and I can flail my legs and arms around the water, but technically i can only "swim" up to where my feet can touch the sand. The boyf thinks I'm a freak for not learning something as basic as that. Hehe.
But as ridiculously ironic as THAT seems, I am totally and deeply in love with the sea. I'd sell my possessions and move to the beach if I could. Seriously. A risk, yes, but there is something indescribably glorious being around that much sea and sky. And if you feel as strongly as I do, then Bantayan Island should absolutely be on your visit list--spent 4 days there last week as a part of a yearly Holy Week tradition, and it always gets better each and every single time.
