random ROFL, new look

Yeah, Christopher Bailey can do no wrong (that SS10 lilac trench is beyond adorable). Emma Watson can do absolutely no wrong either. Its not their infraction whatsoever. And yes, this ad campaign is all levels stunning. But why would anyone think we wouldn't notice the WTFery of THIS?! Better yet, why would anyone approve this and let it go to press?! Sorry. this just made last night for me.

new year

starting the new year right

January 2- First Saturday of the year, first foray into the town for 2010. Brought the fab ones to experience Korean cuisine at Suriya (worth a visit if you're in Cebu) where we had too much spicy greens to eat, hopped on to both city nightlife favourites VUDU and the Loft/Penthouse for some alcHOhol, and capped off the evening at our favorite watering hole in Mango. Good times, good times. Wearing my perennial tailored blazer and a vintage liberty floral skirt because yes, my closet is still very 2009. Haha. I'm still waiting for some time (and some funding) to make it 2010. :P

Highlights of my evening: Aoi's Kirkwood-ish shoes from People are People and my zipper-and-studs fleshtone strappies from Gibi,Yves wearing my custom bodychain, good samgyupsal, and that fun shot of the liquor selection from the Pent.

Retrospective

2009 was all about challenges that were worth facing, friends worth keeping, and insanely fun times worth remembering. Life was and always will be a never-ending rollercoaster, but as they say, one simply has to roll with the punches to make it werq. And now that another sheet of 365 days have been ripped off from our calendars, here are some of the shots that made [my] 2009. Times may change, and people certainly will, but the love for fashion is here to stay.

On a different note, thank you all who expressed support re my return. it will forever be appreciated. I'll most def get back to your comments later! xxoo

2010

HELLO 2010

To those who believed that I'd blog again, thank you for doing so. You were right. I'd like to officially start 2010 on a very fresh note, and a declaration that yes, this so-called "fashion" blog will be back this time around.

This move is not without a lot of second guessings and afterthoughts. 2009 was chocked full of little reasons on why i had to take quite a long hiatus, and those will undoubtedly stay in 2010-but if you enjoy what you do, you just keep on doing it, right? Can't say i can get rid of busy work schedules, extra activities, and other craptastic little trainwrecks in my own life-- but as the popular Hollywood adage goes, "the show MUST go on." And it will, despite obvious protestations within my own self, among others. Haha.

New places to go to, new crazy trends to try, new friends to meet and have drinks with, and new personalities with styles that will undeniably inspire. Hello, 2010.
