I finally got to see Avatar with one of my best gals Aoi last night. The boyf was critically panning it as "obvious, weak characterization", but there's so much hype to it that I had to go check it out myself. I would agree with him a little bit (Giovanni Ribisi's character was just WAY too obvious), but still, I would say the overall magnanimity of the film eclipsed those few moments of weakness. I gave it 9 out of 10. Matter of fact, I will go take the family to watch it AGAIN today. How's that for being a fan?
Funny thing was, I wasn't expecting to pull a double stud with Aoi-she wore her studded heels, and I my uberfavourite thrifted moto jacket that i started studding (i ran out, lol), but it made for a fun photoshoot quickie. And those platinum leggings are certainly killer. Good call, Aoi. Good call.
