Sinulog Day 2 and 3: For the Love of Shine and the Beats
9:47 AMMy home internet is acting out again, Among other things. I'm on the office PC now, trying to step up my game in visiting your blogs and responding to comments. Thank God for nice bosses.:)
Like most of you, I am currently in love with sequins. It's effortless and fun, so what's not to love? I wore this sequined cobalt-blue number (an old 90's dress of another cousin)with ze Guess heels when i took my cousin Shana (who goes to uni in Japan and who's only here for the weekend) out on the town. She hasn't been here for 8 YEARS, but you know, kinda feels like she never left. We'll always be close like that.

Sunday was when the revelry broke out in the streets as the whole province ushered in the Sinulog 2010 mardigras, which exceeded previous expectations by drawing in a whopping 8 MILLION people. Incredible, isn't it? Unfortunately I wasn't able to be out on the streets much as Shana didn't want to brave the crowd, so we just saw it from the comfort of Shana's hotel grandstand. Good view still. Invited the friends later on for some R & R. all in all, this was a really great year for the Sinulog.
Btw boys and girls, I'm approaching my 100th post and I'm thinking of doing a giveaway! Wheee. I'll probly just announce it in my next post. Thanks again for the love.:)
