The weekends are here once more--that could only mean fun and R&R, at least for you guys! Unfortunately I won't be having too much of that this weekend. Aside from a good friend's birthday shindig tomorrow (Happy Birthday JETT PE and do know I love you to tidbits!), business will be the primary agenda for this weekend, so I'm just making this post now while I can. Safe to presume that you guys understand why this post is ultra-delayed. Apologies all around!
There wasn't much going on last week as opposed to this one, so I played around with my camera again and took self-timed snaps of my incredibly casual and heat-appropriate outfit while i was in the station.
WEARING
white tank dress-Marks and Spencer
studded moccasin booties-Minnetonka
I'm not a really big fan of dresses or tops that have drawstrings in the hip area (feels a little 2006 to me, not that there's really anything wrong with that), but I happen to really like this one from Marks and Spencer because it actually makes you look like you're wearing a long white wifebeater/tank... nothing beats that!
This relaxed day allowed me some time to prepare and buy materials for a dress that I was going to need for an upcoming event- and of course, this piece would most certainly be customized by Yves, who is just always sprightly at the thought of being my go-to walking atelier (well, he ain't complaining just yet anyway. Love ya Yves!). Needless to say we used the time to camwhore a bit at the mall:
Me and Yves(below) working bleached 90's denim at the Textiles Department..hahaha
Lory Mer posing just right out of Topshop: loving the "Plastic Fantastic" baubles and that showstopping blue nail polish. He also shows how the backpack is done right.
Lord Maturan, Cebu Young Designers Competition Champion and current lead stylist for Guess, shows us how to work a plaid shirt, oversized tote and boxing boots. boom boom pow indeed
Just like any other post I wrap this up with warm huggies going out to all of you for your continuous support, and understanding that as much as we hate pocket hiatuses, yes, they do have to happen sometimes. Love you all!
