I hope you guys are liking the more pared down, cleaner blog template that I have going on here. Proud to say that I did all the ground work myself-- I came into blogging totally NOT tech-savvy, but I'm glad my work really lets me go deep into this stuff, so yay, me. 

It's amazing to note how military fashion is coming back full circle for the fall season, albeit with less pomp and excess a few seasons ago. I got the chance to wear this fitted camouflage jacket customized by my BFF Yves Camingue, which I would say wouldn't be very functional in the true sense of the word as I think it's a tad bit too vibrant... but then again, nothing but mad love for this piece which I'm sure will be making frequent rounds in my closet for the coming months.

I've been regularly wearing black skinnies lately, and this pair of dark thin rib corduroy jeggings from shapewear and legwear company Memoi is an absolute favorite- the fit works wonders and it's body shaping factor has been doing my thighs a lot of good. Haha.

I know I've been such a delinquent blogger lately but I'll try to stick to my resolution better! Much love all! xx

Haylavet. Wore this outfit to the Starmobile Launch in Maya (more of that later), and we thought this amazing hedge wall perfectly complimented this dress, thus, me sheepishly busting posing moves while cars moved by. Hahaha. Thank you Yuno and Yves Camingue as well.

I decided to wear this AMAZING confection from Cebu-based brand Simon to this event, which brings to mind parts Mary Katrantzou, parts Givenchy's "birds of paradise", and just incredibly unique and eye-catching on the whole. Lord knows it'll take me a few lifetimes to raise enough money for those designer confections, but Simon houses spot-on trendy alternatives that definitely give a bang for your buck. Best part is, everything is tailor-made for a great fit.
