So guys, I did take a hiatus. But just for a few days, anyway.
Ever feel like you're just too absolutely pooped to do anything? Well, that SO happened. I just felt drained and depressed about a few stuff this week. One, I think it's all the bookings for hosting and events I've been getting this week. Not like I'm rolling out my own red carpet here- it's great, I'm grateful, but it IS incredibly strenuous. TRUST. Also, I think "blogging burnout" does happen to all of us... sometimes we just want to break out from the daily routines and just.. not blog or think about blogging. I know. sacrilege! Then again I DO love all of you (no kidding), love your blogs, and I love this little blog because it's mine, so I think that I'll never really quit blogging or whatever-- but then I'd have to take these so-called "pocket breaks", but hopefully not too often.:)
SO anyway-- one of the many activities I participated in this week was the Design Lecture Series facilitated by two of our country's finest fashion tastemakers, Butch Carungay of Avatar Accessories, and Oj Hofer. No matter how time was of the essence this week, I HAD to attend it. And for that, I knew this called for some good vintage:
Wearing mom's vintage lace blouse as blazer, white Hanes tank, DIY distressed denim shorts, Le Donne booties
The Design Lecture Series aims to propagate the spirit of consciousness among like-minded enthusiasts regarding the movements of everything design, not just fashion but other disciplines as well like photography, architecture, and many others. It made up for a fun, intellectually-stimulating session, and I can't wait for their next installment. Prolific virtuoso Butch Carungay also showed some of his masterpieces, and I just could not help but snap away at the beauties:
Top accessories tastemaker Butch Carungay
Cebu top designer Oj Hofer with Yves Camingue
Yves with the Cebu streets at night.. and wearing my beloved biker jacket, at that.

MUCH, MUCH LOVE again to all of those who still visited in spite of my non-responsive, slightly vegetative state.
Let me know how you guys have been. I'm back. XOXO
