jersey dress with pleather detailing from Oxygen, metal plate bib necklace from Forever 21, knuckle ring from Gold Dot, leopard wedges bought online, assorted accessories from downtown. thank you Vanessa East for the shots!
Over the weekend, I got to work as the shoot stylist for renowned Cebu events specialist Monch Ceballos and his ongoing project with Maze in Ayala Center Cebu, the Maze Teen Model Search. It was a blast putting together current, fun, but age-appropriate looks for the models. I'm totally having a bold color moment, so I pulled out all the electro-colored confections I can find and had a ball! Will be posting the shots later.
I wore this new pleather-detailed dress from Oxygen--seriously, how awesome is the line? I kind of panic whenever I pass by their store because I know I'll end up buying something. Their new line is to die. Visit their store ASAP if you haven't!
What I wore this day was obviously a huge contrast to the work I've done, as is the case mostly in the work I've done so far as a stylist. As a newb with not much portfolio to show just yet, I sometimes get to hear the most ridiculous and amusing things about people "worrying" or "judging" that I can't deliver other pegs properly and will always end up dressing models according to my vibe and what I wear. Haha. As I go along I think I'll always just let my work speak for itself, because I will never succumb to the dictates of others when it comes to what I wear. While some books might have very nondescript covers, what's inside might be actually worth checking. Just saying, people. :)
See you Manila this Saturday for Bloggers United 2-- can't wait!
