Pretty much back, as in really back, from ze hiatus. Done with the film that we were doing-- I can't divulge anything just yet, but I haven't felt this fulfilled and grateful in ages. Post-processing was insane and that took a huge chunk of my time and soul, basically... it was the most exhausted I've been in a long time, but I'm very fulfilled with the end result and yes, it was worth being away from this blog for awhile (though you know I missed you all terribly!). I hope you guys all understand and again, thank you for checking back despite my lack of updates.

Today, I intend to relieve myself of stress with this pretty little wishlist of must-haves from Zalora Philippines-- been forever spying on this gorgeous white ankle-strap heels and Birkenstock-inspired sandals  (okay, I'm finally willing to try this bizaare trend!) from Ezra, these gorgeous Alexa shades from Sunnies by Charlie, a pair of well-deserved Nike Pro Elevate Training Gloves (I've been saving up for a really good one), and this chunky gold chain necklace and these strappy wonders from Primadonna. The real kicker though-- this pretty red hobo bag   and chic zebra leather wallet from their selection of CLN Celine bags-- I've never been much of a bag person but I think I'm starting to be.

• Minimalism and neutrals were still very much on the menu. Guess you can't trust me to go floral anytime, but who knows? Haha! I know I have to step out of my comfort zone every now and then... Liked this off-white look and wrap skirt look a lot! 
• My hair sort of looked the same the whole year round. It definitely wasn't like THAT year where my I tried the colors of the rainbow in a span of a few months... signs of growing up, maybe? 
• Simpler everything. 2013 was definitely the year where simplicity was in and excess was out-- I liked having a more pared-down, cleaner closet of more classic items. Definitely continuing that this year.

The lovely people at Persunmall sent me an item of choice to review, and I went for the lovely Celine-inspired Tricolor Trapeze bag. I have fallen in love with the Celine bag since the moment I laid eyes on it--the design is very fresh yet has classic lines to last for years. Celine has been churning out IT bag after IT bag, but this one has to be my favorite. Considering that it is an obvs knockoff, I had set pretty low expctations, but boy, was I very, very surprised when I got the package!


PROS

• The bag looks really, really good even for an inspired-by piece. It doesn't look cheap or
  feel cheap.
• The quality is impressive-- the bag is durably structured, the stitching is really good, and the hardware is shiny and non-tarnishing
• The blue suede is really pretty!
• Very roomy; can accomodate a LOT of things
• Definite conversation piece
• Does NOT bear a fake Celine label (which I would've hated as I hate "branded" knockoffs)
• Overall a good value for money at $60

Y'all know dresses aren't really my thing, and they don't really have a special affinity for me as well. I used to be able to decently pull off a killer bodycon or backless dress, but now, I'm staying away. I'm blaming my growing muffin top for that. But then I got a really pretty dress as a gift, which appealed to that "inner girly side" within-- but then, of course, I had to "Edenify" it a bit. haha
